Hi, I’m Carol — a quietly brilliant tech person with a language-loving past.
I didn’t start out in the digital world. My background is in languages — I hold two MAs, one from St Andrews and one in translation from Leeds. My early career took me from Gorbachev’s Russia to the sunlit streets of Crete, via Uzbekistan and Cambridge University.
It was while teaching English in Greece that I first discovered virtual assistance — and something clicked. I began learning the online skills that form the backbone of what I do today: building websites, managing content, setting up newsletters, and helping small businesses look polished and professional online.
Over the years, I’ve taught myself the tools and systems that make things run smoothly behind the scenes — from code (HTML, CSS) to Canva, WordPress, SEO and more. I’ve helped business owners get online, stay visible, and feel confident about the digital side of things.
Now based in a traditional Cretan village, I bring calm support, real experience, and just the right spark to help your business shine online.
